Bags care
The production Brandina, is entirely handmade. The fabric BRANDINA has high performances of resistance to rubbing, to breakage, to atmospheric agents and to UV rays, for this reason it can be kept in excellent conditions also after every correct washing that respects its qualities, allowing at the same time to clean thoroughly any stains.
BEACH COLLECTION
The Beach line is made with original Brandina fabric and fabric trim.
1. In the case of superficial stains you can use a sponge soaked in water and Marseille soap (or any other mild detergent) in the amount of a teaspoon and rub the fabric until the stain has vanished.
2. If you wish to carry out a general washing of your Brandina, even if only to remove any blackening of the parts that are normally more dirty (e.g. handles, bottom, shoulder strap...) you can easily resort to machine washing. In this case we recommend programming your washing machine at 30°, in the normal delicate wash without spin cycle.
3. If the Brandina fabric has been stained with ink, you can first use the procedure described in point number 1. If this is not enough, dab the ink mark with a cotton ball soaked in acetone or alcohol.
LUX COLLECTION
The Lux Collection line is made with the original Brandina fabric, eco-leather trimmings and inner lining. The presence of eco-leather implies a greater care and attention in the use and maintenance of the bag.
1. For the cleaning of a general stain/malise on the eco-leather parts of the bag we suggest using a non-abrasive sponge soaked in water with a small amount of neutral soap or cosmetic make-up remover. We suggest to rub gently the part you intend to clean until you get the desired result. Let the eco-leather dry naturally and far from artificial heat sources.
2. When faced with oily stains, first dry with an absorbent cloth, then use a soapy solution as described in point 1.
3. If the eco-leather has become soiled with ink, try to remove the traces using a soft rubber (like bread rubber). If you are interested in a more general or targeted cleaning, you can turn to the laboratories specialized in the cleaning of special garments and leather. In the case of Lux handbags it is best to avoid using the washing machine or washing too invasive that, in the long run, could deplete the eco-leather of the treatments received.
4. If for some reason an eco-leather detail of your bag is scratched or scuffed, we recommend that you apply leather colour to the damaged detail. This will allow you to cover the defect by restoring a homogeneous effect to the surface.
You can wash me in the washing machine but be careful not to spin me!
