Disco Brandina VINYL

BRANDINA the Original, an icon of seaside design, presents its first VINYL disc on Sunday 12 June 2022 at Castello di Granarola.

From an idea of its founder Marco Morosini in collaboration with the record producer Marco D'Ubaldo (aka DUBA), Cinedelic Records involves 11 zero km artists linked to the territory of the Riviera.

The record's 11 unreleased tracks communicate themes of cheerfulness, positivity, the pleasantness of 'being well', which have always been the main sources of inspiration for Brandina, founded in 2005.

As in all self-respecting vinyl, there are two sides containing the sounds. The classic A-side becomes: GOOD MORNING with more daytime sounds for listening at the beach or by the pool .

The opening track, 'Brandina... you get prettier every day..." written by Marco Morosini and his daughter Margherita is a reinterpretation of the 60s song Carina by Fred Buscaglione and Nicola Arigliano, sung by contemporary JJ Vianello, followed by the Forlì-based Montefiori Cocktail with "Il trenino dell'amor", then the Duo Bucolico with "Voglio andare al mare", the histrionic MarcOrea Malià & Orchestra Nessuna Pretesa sing "Jessica", a cover of Bruno Martino, the fifth track is "Oasi" by Rimini's Funk Rimini, and the closing track is by the inventor of the afro/cosmic style, DJ Daniele Baldelli with "A good Day".

The GOOD NIGHT B-side with more dance rhythms that enliven the Riviera until late at night is reserved for five other artists:
It opens with DJ producer Pakkio Sans with 'We play again', then Alberto Melloni with 'Touch', Club Paradiso with 'Feel me', A-Ninetyfour with 'After a frozen bath', and finally to seal it all the DJs Blue Mondays & Enzo Elia with 'Summer Rain'.

A graphic curiosity, the white Mercedes on the cover is the first car bought by Marco Morosini to go to school at the ISIA in Urbino.

"In 1995 I bought my first car, this 1969 Merceds 200/8 for 2,450,000 lire. The original FO (Forlì) number plate was used for all the cars in the province of Forlì, including Rimini. It accompanied me day and night everywhere, giving me unforgettable moments. Every week he took me to the university in Urbino, then to Vienna to Nofrontiere design and to Fabrica di Benetton in Treviso. He only left me stranded once. I thought about changing her but I realised that this lady had a soul and I decided never to part with her again. Today she is still here in fine form, proud to be on the cover of the coolest in the province of Rimini."

The album will be presented during the VINILE PARTY on Sunday 12 June from 6pm until midnight at the Castello di Granarola, a historic residence between the Marche and Emilia Romagna regions restored and brought back to life by Marco Morosini.
